China Alumni Club
Introduction
The K.U.Leuven-China Club was established late February 2010 as an association for Chinese and other K.U.Leuven alumni living in China. The Club forms an umbrella for existing alumni cells in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou… and is the first university-wide alumni association that covers a whole country. K.U.Leuven has taken a number of initiatives to deepen its cooperation with China over the last couple of years. Since the second largest group of international students at K.U.Leuven is Chinese - 450 Chinese students enrolled during the 2009-2010 academic year - China was a natural choice for the establishment of this pilot project. It is K.U.Leuven's firm intention to build on this experience and in this way create a mutually beneficial network for all who want to share their personal experience with our Alma Mater. Our alumni are our most cherished asset abroad and we hope that the K.U.Leuven China Alumni Club can become your Leuven home away from Leuven. We invite all interested alumni to join and play an active role in the establishment of this growing Leuven family in China.
